Waterless Urinal
How uridan Water-Free Urinals Work
|
There are No replaceable waste cartridges required for uridan® water-free urinals.
A biodegradable odour blocking fluid urilock® is poured into the waste trap and floats on the surface of the urine to create a perfect seal, blocking any urine odours.
Urine flows through the urilock® and out of the waste pipe.
urilock® blocking fluid remains effective for approximately 5000 –7000 visits. See Maintenance section for instructions on replacing the urilock® blocking fluid.
The uridan® water-free urinal is simplicity itself. |

Ceramic urinals - for horizontal drainpipe, type KH-1

1. Install bracket nr. (19). The urinal hangs on these brackets.
2. Attach PP-B-HT elbow. (showed below on the drawing.)
3. Install bracket nr. (14). The bracket supports the 90° elbow
to the drainpipe.
4. Make sure the correct distance of 110 mm from the wall
to the centre of the pipe.
5. uridan® urinal should be held against the wall
and slide the urinal down over the bracket no. (19)
and ensuring the bottom of the waste trap is secure
in the waste outlet.
6. Apply silicon sealant around the edge of the urinal -
between the urinal and the wall.
7. Insert the small PVC pipe (B) in the water lock
and afterwards pour approximately 1 litre water.
8. Insert the stainless steel cover (A).
9. Then pour 1 bottle - 0,3 litre urilock® fluid over the cover.
The urinal is ready for use now!
Important: Never pour urilock® fluid before the stainless
steel cover is insert.
